Job Title: Internal Account Manager (Agri & Trailer Parts)
Department: Internal Sales
Reports to: Operations Manager
Role Overview
The Internal Account Manager is responsible for managing and developing relationships with existing clients, supporting the external sales team, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. This role focuses on account retention, upselling, cross-selling, and efficient day-to-day account management from an internal perspective.
Key Responsibilities
•Manage a portfolio of existing client accounts, acting as the main internal point of contact
•Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers
•Handle inbound customer queries, orders, and requests in a timely and professional manner
•Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products or services
•Prepare quotes, process orders, and manage account documentation
•Support External Account Managers / BDMs with account administration and follow-ups
•Ensure accurate CRM updates and maintain detailed client records
•Liaise with internal teams (operations, finance, product support) to ensure smooth service delivery
•Monitor account performance and proactively address any issues
•Contribute to achieving individual and team sales targets
Skills & Experience
•Previous experience in an internal sales, account management, or customer-facing role
•Strong communication and relationship-building skills
•Commercially aware with a proactive, solution-focused mindset
•Excellent organisational and time-management skills
•Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously
•Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft Office packages
•Strong attention to detail and follow-through
Desirable
•Interest in Agriculture and/or Trailer industry/farming background
•Understanding of sales processes and account lifecycle management

Terms & Conditions:
This post has the specified working hours of 40 hours per week, normally 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday to Thursday, and 8.00am – 2.00pm on Fridays with a 30-minute hour lunch break, but it is required that the Internal Account Manager will work such hours necessary to carry out the duties associated with the post.
