About the Role: Training Manager Sales & Solutions Focus
Ascom is seeking a passionate and experienced Training Manager with a strong background in Sales Training to lead the development and delivery of product and solutions training programs for our global workforce and partners. This role is pivotal in equipping our sales teams and partners with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively position and sell Ascoms innovative solutions.
You will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging, impactful training programs that enhance product knowledge, boost sales effectiveness, and drive business growth. This is a global role with direct influence on our commercial success and strategic expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement Ascoms global Sales and Solutions Training Architecture and Certification approach.
2. Design and deliver sales-focused training content, including negotiation strategies, objection handling, value-based selling, and account management.
3. Collaborate with Sales Leadership to identify training needs and align programs with business goals.
4. Produce eLearning modules using standard authoring tools, with a focus on sales enablement.
5. Manage product and solutions training delivery in collaboration with global and regional trainers.
6. Oversee Ascoms global LMS (MS 365): catalog management, participant tracking, and training records.
7. Maintain and share current training materials with the global training community.
8. Create and maintain a global training plan including content creation and delivery.
9. Coordinate with regional stakeholders to ensure consistent and effective training execution.
10. Collaborate with Product and Solution Managers to align training with product developments.
11. Onboard and support internal and external trainers.
12. Foster knowledge exchange and cross-regional collaboration within the Ascom Trainer Community.
What Were Looking For:
13. Bachelors or Masters degree in IT, Instructional Design, Learning & Development, or related field.
14. 610 years of experience in training design and delivery, with a strong emphasis on Sales Training in the tech or medical device industries.
15. Demonstrated success in developing and delivering sales enablement programs that drive performance.
16. Proven experience managing global training projects (Project Management certification is a plus).
17. Strong knowledge of training technologies, instructional design, and LMS platforms.
18. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
19. Proficiency in English (additional European languages are a plus).
