We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Electrician qualified to level II to join our facilities team based at the John Radcliffe hospital in Oxford. This is a permanent full-time position working from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday.
Key Activities:
1. Reporting to the Self-Delivery Supervisor / Operations Manager
2. To provide technical engineering support for the Hard FM Services department and carry out preventative maintenance to deadline plus maintain paperwork to support PPM activities
3. To respond to reactive and emergency faults and conduct reactive maintenance work to ensure compliance with KPIs
4. To manage Contractors as necessary
5. Working 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday
Skills & Qualifications:
6. Must hold a recognised electrical trade apprenticeship and/or relevant qualifications to level 2 (theory and practice) in a relevant electrical discipline with suitable industry experience.
7. Experience in building services is required
8. Willingness to attain cross skilling and to undertake training and qualify as an AP as required
9. IT Literate
10. Excellent customer service and communication skills
11. Demonstrate good planning, organising and prioritising skills
12. Ability to show examples of using initiative and judgement to resolve problems
13. Experience in a Healthcare environment is advantageous
14. Must have a good understanding of health and safety best practice; formal training an advantage.
