We are now recruiting a Production Chemist to support the manufacture of radiopharmaceuticals, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance in a regulated GMP environment.


The Role

As a Production Chemist, you will play a critical role in ensuring that radiopharmaceutical production, radiation compliance, Health & Safety, Good Manufacturing Practice, and licensing commitments are consistently met.


Shift pattern

* 1 week of night shift followed by 6 weeks of day shift
* Day shift: 06:00–14:00
* Night shift: 21:00–05:00


Your responsibilities

* Manufacturing radiopharmaceuticals in line with Marketing Authorisations and/or specials licences, ensuring full compliance with the PETNET Quality System and cGMP requirements
* Cleaning and maintaining cleanrooms and associated equipment
* Working to a shift pattern that includes weekends, in line with operational demand
* Ensuring adequate stock levels of consumables
* Shipping dangerous goods in accordance with ADR regulations
* Collaborating with PETNET colleagues to ensure alignment of operational processes and effective backup across sites
* Operating the cyclotron particle accelerator
* Maintaining continuous professional development to stay current with legislation and scientific developments related to PET radiopharmaceutical production
* Supporting the review and development of standard operating procedures (SOPs)
* Assisting with site preparation for audits and inspections


Your expertise

* An HND or higher qualification in a physical science or engineering discipline
* Good communication skills, including experience in a customer‑facing role
* Experience working within a GMP pharmaceutical production environment
