HSEQ ADVISOR

The HSEQ Advisor role is spent primarily on sites as the eyes, ears and voice of HSEQ within the business. Conducting internal audits, attending site meetings and supporting the site teams in ensuring the Health and Safety of those at risk from our work.
Some of this can be done from home but most of the work requires site presence and occasionally working nights or weekends. We are a multi-site business with the majority of the projects happening in London. Frequent travel to these sites is a key part of the role.
The HSEQ advisor is the main contact for the site teams and a trusted colleague on HSEQ matters. The role requires close working relationships with project managers and front-line workers. A Health and Safety related qualification is required but all other qualifications or membership will be developed on appointment of this position. Support local management with the HSEQ of multiple projects
Support management in the development of Health and Safety related documents such as risk assessments and construction phase plans.
To monitor and support the HSEQ compliance of multiple projects line with legal, regulatory and business requirements.
Nebosh Certificate (Construction preferred)
A passion for Health and Safety.
A proven ability to manage people with the goal for a positive Health and Safety Culture.
A high level of focus on the achievement of targeted results and high quality standards.
A good level of awareness of the Legal, Regulatory and statutory requirements of the business in regards to Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality.
A good working knowledge of office based IT systems.
