The Role

This role sits at the heart of Finance & Operations, owning contract lifecycle management, billing accuracy and service revenue performance. You’ll lead the revenue team, act as the escalation point for complex billing and contract queries, and drive continuous improvement across systems, processes and reporting.

It’s a hands‑on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys combining commercial insight, data analysis and people management to improve operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

6. Own the end‑to‑end contract lifecycle, including setup, amendments and compliance
7. Lead and oversee all billing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
8. Act as the first point of escalation for billing, contract and revenue queries
9. Manage forecasting across billing and revenue streams, reporting on variances and performance
10. Ensure data integrity across systems including ServiceNow / ESOD and related databases
11. Monitor T&M billing, installations, cancellations and service database outputs
12. Lead and develop the Revenue Team, setting behaviours in line with company values
13. Deliver continuous process improvement, automation and insight using tools such as Power BI
14. Build strong relationships with finance, service and senior stakeholders
15. Act as the senior customer contact for escalated billing and contract issues

What We’re Looking For

Essential

16. Proven experience in contracts, billing, revenue or commercial operations management
17. Experience leading and developing a team to deadlines and forecast targets
18. Strong understanding of billing accuracy, forecasting and revenue assurance
19. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong data analysis capability
20. Experience working with service or operational databases (e.g. ServiceNow or similar)
21. Confident communicator able to influence at management level
22. Strong stakeholder management across finance, operations and customer teams

Advantageous

23. Experience driving process improvement, automation or change management
24. Power BI or similar reporting and analytics exposure
25. Background in service‑led, asset‑based or contract‑driven environments
26. Experience acting as a senior escalation point for customers or commercial disputes

Salary & Package

27. Salary circa £40,000 + car allowance
28. Competitive benefits package
29. West Bromwich–based role
