An exciting opportunity to support the creation of pre-production vehicles in a dynamic engineering environment. This role is responsible for ensuring timely delivery of prototype parts from suppliers to meet strict build schedules.
You’ll coordinate across engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers to keep prototype builds on track, with a strong focus on planning, supplier management, and logistics.

This Role is a contract position paying £200 a day inside IR35 equivalent to a £40,000 salary. The contract length is 10 months until end of their financial year, this will be extended after.
Key Responsibilities
* Secure and maintain delivery dates for prototype parts from external suppliers.
* Track shipments from dispatch to receipt; escalate any delays.
* Prevent build stoppages and ensure point-of-fit readiness.
* Coordinate with internal manufacturing (e.g. 3D printing, Tool Rooms).
* Record delivery promises within one week of receipt.
* Lead supplier calls and build strong working relationships.
* Ensure cost-effective and timely shipping.
* Support multiple prototype build events across product lines.
