The role
We're looking for a Cyber Security Manager to join our Strategic Asset Management team here at Southern Housing!
Reporting to the Head of Cyber Security, you'll support the delivery of the cyber strategy while managing a team of 5 responsible for identifying and managing IT security incidents, investigations, and reports.
This is a fantastic role with a broad range of responsibilities that will allow you to make a real impact in an important role for the business.
You will be based at our office in Farringdon, working 3 days in the office per week.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Lead & motivate the IT Security team
* Support the Head of Cyber Security in delivering the cyber strategy
* Monitor regulatory compliance with security policies & educate the organisation on compliance efforts
* Develop, deploy, and oversee business-wide cyber security training
* Set usage & security policies & processes for information sharing on internal & external platforms
* Ensure documented processes exist for all operational security workstreams, including incident response procedures and runbooks for specific threat types (e.g., Ransomware, Malware)
* Oversee vulnerability management
* Manage IT security incidents, investigations, and reports
* Work on projects to implement improved security and ensure security measures are in place during organizational changes
What You'll Need:
* Ability to lead and motivate individuals
* Experience in juggling priorities
* Able to motivate colleagues on security awareness
* Experience in developing and documenting security processes and procedures
* Working knowledge of IT Audit
* Strong analytical skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to build collaborative relationships with stakeholders
* Experience delivering security investigations
