Investment surveyor

Job Description

We are currently partnering with a Housing Association in the West Midlands, who are recruiting for an Investment Surveyor to join their growing team on a permanent basis.


This is a full-time position with a salary of £38,000 - £41,000 + (subject to experience), with the ideal candidate having at least five years of building management experience within social housing & property, and a HNC or equivalent qualification.


Duties will include (but are not limited to):

* Managing planned, major, and compliance works programmes, including FRA remedial and insurance-related projects, ensuring completion to high quality, safety, and budget standards
* Carrying out stock condition and building safety surveys, maintaining accurate asset data to inform long-term investment planning and compliance
* Overseeing contractor performance and ensuring all works comply with health and safety, fire, asbestos, and building regulations
* Supporting sustainability initiatives through retrofit surveys and energy efficiency improvements, contributing to decarbonisation goals
* Collaborating with internal teams, contractors, and residents to deliver projects effectively, manage budgets, and enhance service quality
