Are you passionate about supporting young people to overcome barriers to learning? Teaching Personnel is working closely with a number of mainstream secondary schools across Liverpool who are seeking Behaviour Specialists to join their teams and make a real impact in students' lives.
As a Behaviour Support Specialist, you will work closely with students who present challenging behaviour, social/emotional difficulties, or additional needs. Your role will involve:
* Providing 1:1 or small group support in and out of the classroom
* Implementing behaviour intervention strategies
* Working alongside teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams
* Promoting a positive learning environment and emotional wellbeing
* Experience working with children or young people with challenging behaviour (in education, youth work, care, or similar settings)
* A resilient, patient and empathetic approach
* Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
* A genuine desire to support and re-engage learners
Relevant qualifications (e.g. Team Teach, Psychology, Youth Work, Criminology) are desirable but not essential.
