Role
This specialist school is a magnificent OFSTED "Outstanding" school. The school is currently seeking a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support in their setting. This role is full time (5 days a week) and term time only (8:45-4:45pm). This role will start ASAP and is a great opportunity for a committed, nurturing and empathetic individual.
Applicants will be responsible for helping children from the age of 7 years with severe and complex needs including but not limited to Autism, ASD and SEMH needs. The school is a popular setting dedicated to offering a practical, accessible and thought-provoking curriculum for all the pupils. Each child receives a 1:1 education catered to their needs and goals.
As a teaching assistant, your development will be a priority; the setting will provide the skills (and qualifications) to become an HLTA and then SEN trainee teacher in the future. All training and qualifications are fully funded. The school boasts brilliant grounds and exceptional facilities, and is recognised for its safe and welcoming ethos with a long-standing senior leadership team.

Requirements
* Relevant teaching or care assistant experience (desirable)
* GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
* SEN experience (desirable)
* Eligibility to work in the UK
Responsibilities
* Supporting learners on a 1:1, small group and whole class basis
