Senior Security Engineer x 3 Salary: Grade 7 - £53,400 - £69,015 ( Dependant on Location & including DDaT Allowance) Location: London, Manchester or Bristol Hybrid Working 60% working in an office location The Cabinet Office is undergoing a significant Digital Transformation. The role As a senior Security Engineer, you will: lead day-to-day operation of the cyber security teams internal infrastructure, identifying and remediating operational issues lead the implementation of resilient and highly-available systems to support cyber security operations work closely with the Cyber Defence team to rapidly develop capabilities that support the investigation of and response to cyber security incidents Use automation to improve operational efficiency and deliver consistency infrastructure Create and quality assure operational documentation Work across Cabinet Office business units to support the implementation of security infrastructure that enables cyber operations, sharing knowledge and expertise for the benefit of the Cabinet Office. Essential Criteria A proven record of building and maintaining services in AWS including Kinesis, Lambda, EC2 and native security tools Experience building, maintaining and operating cloud services using Infrastructure as Code An excellent understanding of DevSecOps principles and how these can be applied in practice Hands-on demonstrable experience of AWS, Terraform, Python and Github.
