Role Overview
As a Manager, you will independently manage engagements under the supervision of the Engagement Leader, lead multidisciplinary teams, manage stakeholders, and deliver quality solutions. You will also contribute to business development activities and practice growth, helping to expand our forensic services.
Roles and Responsibilities
1. Manage a portfolio of forensic investigations, including financial, fraud, misconduct, proactive risk management, and compliance work.
2. Independently manage engagements with oversight from the engagement leader.
3. Prepare reports for review by senior management.
4. Manage risks and financials of client engagements.
5. Engage with stakeholders at various levels, including senior executives and legal partners.
6. Develop internal and external networks through quality delivery and networking activities.
7. Assist in developing proposals and bids for new work.
8. Oversee and develop junior team members.
9. Prioritize continuous self and team development.
Leadership & Management
Manage engagement teams, including offshore and onshore colleagues, and oversee work quality and team development.
Stakeholder Interaction & Challenges
Interact directly with clients and third parties, managing multiple senior stakeholders across projects.
Impact, Risk, and Governance
Potentially serve as Engagement Manager on small to medium projects, managing risks and financials, and reporting to Engagement Leaders.
The Person
* Chartered Professional Accountant or equivalent, with relevant experience.
* Minimum of 3 years PQE in forensic consulting.
* Experience across investigations, fraud risk, dispute advisory, and compliance.
* Experience with forensic accountancy, data analytics, corporate intelligence, and electronic media reviews.
* Experience supporting audits and financial misstatement investigations.
* Proven project management skills, including financial and risk management.
* Leadership experience managing small teams.
* Strong communication skills for diverse audiences.
* Analytical, problem-solving, and self-motivated.
* Ability to work under pressure efficiently and accurately.
* Credibility with clients and colleagues.
* Stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
* Enthusiasm for business development and practice growth.
