Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a Female PE Teacher on behalf of this Client, a successful secondary school with a strong reputation for both academic achievement and student wellbeing. This is a full-time maternity cover role starting March, teaching Key Stages 3 and 4, with interviews being arranged immediately.
The Role
1. Teaching Physical Education across KS3 and KS4
2. Planning and delivering engaging, inclusive PE lessons
3. Promoting health, fitness, teamwork and resilience
4. Full-time timetable as part of a supportive PE department
5. Start date: March (maternity cover)
Job Requirements
6. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
7. Experience teaching PE at secondary level
8. Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
9. Ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities
10. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare
Qualifications & Person Specification
11. UK recognised teaching qualification with QTS
12. Proven experience teaching PE across KS3 & KS4
13. Enthusiastic, proactive and well-organised practitioner
14. Team player with excellent communication skills
15. Passionate about sport, fitness and student development
