Financial Services Training Improvement Consultant
1. Provide training across NFU Mutual's Financial Services division
2. Enjoy a varied role, including undertaking project work and process improvement opportunities
3. Informal hybrid working arrangements on offer – you will need to be based at our Stratford-Upon-Avon head office on average circa 2 to 3 days per week (but this will depend on training requirements, so will be varied!)
About the role
As a Financial Services Training Improvement Consultant, you’ll play a pivotal role in developing, implementing, and continually improving training for our Financial Services (FS) division. You’ll also work closely with colleagues across various departments to support the Life advice proposition and ensure compliance.
You’ll be responsible for:
4. Designing and delivering training to equip users with the knowledge to implement changes confidently and in line with company advice standards
5. Supporting changes to Life Sales processes, systems (including Point of Sale), modelling tools, and documentation to support effective and compliant advice delivery
6. Identifying and reporting on issues and risks, proposing mitigation plans in line with audit and regulatory requirements
7. Delivering short-term projects and activities to agreed standards
About you
With a highly motivated and proactive mindset, and a strong background working within a FS / Advisory setting, you will be QCF Level 4 Qualified (Diploma in Financial Planning) and be excited to thrive in a fast-paced, training environment!
You will also be able to showcase:
8. Experience working in Financial Service functions, offering support and/or training
9. Significant technical understanding of financial services regulatory regimes, including COBS
10. Ability to deliver business process improvements and an efficient approach to your work
11. A good understanding of tax and Financial Planning solutions and products
12. Prior knowledge of using Training software - ideally Articulate
13. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
14. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across departments
