Position: Applications Engineer Location: Must be based Midlands (UK travel involved) Salary: £Negotiable The Company/ Sector: Machine Tools Responsibilities: • My client is looking for an apprentice trained CNC applications engineer or programmer/machinist from within the machine tool industry to join their dedicated team of field-based training & applications engineers (turning & milling experience would be a strong advantage). • Training customers to use the extensive range of machines. • Supporting customers to meet their needs for their machine • Demonstrating Machines to customers pre and post sales • Troubleshooting and resolve customer issues • Providing technical support when required • Feedback and report issues raised for future best-practice improvement • Recommend process improvement for efficiency and cost-reduction • Full training is provided and will initially be at their head office and further training will be given onsite senior team members – as well as an ongoing training programme with a personal development plan to keep us at the forefront of the industry.
