Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant and Bar Staff. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and Drink and a desire to support the kitchen and Bar staff in delivering high-quality meals and drinks, assisting with meal preparation, maintaining food safety standards and serving drinks to customers.
Responsibilities
* Assist in the preparation of ingredients for cooking and meal assembly.
* Assist in the Bar serving drinks as required
* Support chefs with cooking tasks, ensuring all dishes are prepared to the highest standards.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and utensils.
* Follow food safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
* Help with catering events by preparing and serving food as required.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during busy periods.
* Participate in inventory management by assisting in stock rotation and reporting shortages.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a kitchen environment, bar/pub or restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
* Experience in meal preparation and food preparation techniques is advantageous but not required.
* Training will be given.
* A background in catering or culinary arts would be beneficial but not mandatory.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: £12.21-£12.71 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
