This Area Sales Manager opportunity with Dawsongroup Bus and Coach, within the minibus sector, offers the chance to build long-term customer relationships, win new business, and support organisations with flexible fleet solutions across a fast-moving and people-focused market.
* Delivering agreed quarterly and annual sales targets through proactive account management and new business generation
* Building strong relationships with local authorities, education providers, community transport operators, charities, and private sector customers
* Converting leads, referrals, and prospecting activity into profitable long-term business opportunities
* Acting as the local representative for the Dawsongroup bus and coach minibus sector, promoting high service standards and customer support
* Working closely with internal hire desk and operational teams to deliver a smooth customer experience from enquiry through to delivery
About You
You will be confident building relationships, identifying opportunities, and creating trust with customers in a competitive market. Whether you have worked as an Area Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Account Manager, or Sales Executive, you will understand the importance of service, responsiveness, and commercial awareness within the vehicle and transport sector.
* Full, valid UK driving licence
* Experienced negotiator with strong face-to-face selling skills and the confidence to close sales professionally
* Excellent interpersonal skills with a high level of personal presentation
* Sound general education alongside a good understanding of vehicles and transport
* Sound working knowledge of the bus, coach, or minibus industry with the ability to identify customer needs and develop commercial opportunities
