Axcis Education is seeking dedicated and passionate youth workers with experience working with children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide one-on-one and group support to students with SEND in both academic and personal development.
2. Assist in creating and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the school's SEND team.
3. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting social and emotional well-being.
4. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students with SEND.
5. Engage in professional development to stay updated on best practices in SEND education.
Qualifications:
* Previous experience working with students with SEND is essential.
* Youth work experience.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* A genuine commitment to supporting young people.

This school is a reputable special school with beautiful grounds, encouraging children to participate in growing fruits and vegetables during summer. The role is Monday to Friday, 8:45-15:45, with pay starting from £89 per day. The position is long-term and available immediately.
