We are currently recruiting on behalf of a large, well-established Housing Association in Birmingham for multiple Housing Assistants to join their team on a 6-month contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong administrative skills and a customer-focused approach to support the delivery of housing management services. You will play a key role in assisting Housing Officers and ensuring tenants receive a high standard of service.
Key Responsibilities of a Housing Assistant:
Provide administrative support to Housing Officers across a busy housing management team
Handle incoming calls from tenants, dealing with a range of housing-related queries
Maintain accurate records and update internal systems
Assist with tenancy management processes, including documentation and case tracking
Support with appointment scheduling and general office coordination
Liaise with internal teams and external partners where requiredRequirements for a Housing Assistant:
Previous experience in an administrative or customer service role (housing experience desirable)
Strong communication skills, particularly over the phone
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
