EYFS Teaching Assistant - Whitefield (M45)
Location: Whitefield, Bury, Greater Manchester Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
About the Role Tradewind Recruitment is looking for a caring and motivated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Whitefield (M45). This full-time role involves supporting pupils in the Early Years Foundation Stage and helping to create a stimulating environment that supports early learning and development.
Key Responsibilities Assist the class teacher in delivering EYFS learning activities. Support children with phonics, early reading, and number skills. Encourage independence and confidence through play-based learning. Help prepare and organise classroom resources and activities. * Support pupils during transitions, group activities, and outdoor learning.
Ideal Candidate Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or degree educated). Experience supporting pupils in EYFS is desirable. Patient, nurturing, and proactive approach. Strong communication and organisational skills. * Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
