About the Role
At St John Ambulance, we aim to develop our volunteering offer and strengthen our role within communities through delivering community first aid and education.
We seek individuals passionate about helping others, caring about their communities, and eager to make a difference by sharing first aid skills and knowledge. As a Community First Aider, you will deliver first aid at local events and educate the public, helping to grow the ripple effect of First Aid.
Responsibilities
1. Deliver first aid at community events.
2. Provide first aid education to the public.
3. Support community partnerships to expand our reach and membership.
4. Promote the message that First Aid Saves Lives.

Volunteer Details
The unit meets for 2 hours weekly on a Monday or Tuesday evening in the Swale and Medway area.
Selection sessions are scheduled between 27-29 May 2025.
Training and Induction
If selected, you will undertake an induction event on 30 May 2025 in Queenborough, and complete a two-day Community First Aid Course on 05/07/25 and 12/07/25 (attendance on both days is mandatory).
