Purpose of the Role
Crew’s Off Price team are critical to the success of delivering Crew’s Multi Channel Strategy. The Off-Price Sales Support Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Buying Director with the management of Off-Price accounts at Crew’s Head Office.
Responsibilities
* Support the Buying Director with management of customer accounts for Crew’s Off Price Business.
* Work closely with the product and merchandise teams to ensure orders are collated, placed, and delivered on time.
* Support the customer accounts with marketing material / seasonal photography and samples.
* Collaborate with the product, merchandising and QA teams to ensure garment quality and delivery meet customer requirements.
* Assist with negotiating prices and delivery to achieve sales and margin targets.
* Establish and maintain working partnerships with existing and future supplier base alongside the buying team.
* Ensure all departments within Crew Clothing are aware of customer and supplier procedures covering IT / Importing & Exporting Logistics / Finance / QA / Warehousing, reviewed and updated seasonally.
* Work with internal teams on showroom preparation for customer meetings and attend customer meetings with the Buying Director.
* Manage samples for partner orders and ensure on-time delivery to customers.
* Maintain strong customer / supplier relationships.
Qualifications & Skills
* Educated to degree standard
* 5+ years relevant experience in the retail industry
* Preferable previous experience with discount retailers
* Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and supplier management skills
* Good organisational skills
* Sourcing & Sales experience in the clothing sector advantageous
* Fabric experience would be an advantage
* Thorough understanding of the development process & production from design concept to finished goods
* Understanding of shipping, export & import processes – experience with direct working with overseas suppliers
* Exposure to sales / customer / working relationships
* Understanding of budgeting processes
* Broad knowledge / understanding of the clothing industry and trading environment
* Ability to work under pressure and meet timelines
* Self-motivated and motivated
