Global Brand Strategy & Marketing Content Specialist, Oncology

About the Role
The Content Specialist will enrich Astellas’ content capabilities across Global Brand Teams, ensuring audience‑specific messaging and measurable business impact. The role involves managing the content lifecycle, working with analytics, and coordinating with cross‑functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, create, and approve content to support the GBSM team.
* Produce light medical writing for brand asset creation and adaptation.
* Own end‑to‑end content project management with internal and external creative teams.
* Act as a Veeva PromoMats SME, managing jobs workflow and coordinating with partners.
* Coordinate with ABC/MLR reviewers to maintain compliant marketing material flow in Veeva PromoMats.
* Support GBSM omnichannel journey recommendations and create global OC journey assets for localisation.
* Build and maintain Veeva content portals, claims libraries, modular content, and customer journey assets.
* Manage content information flow to affiliate teams via global portals, calendars, and regular touchpoints; establish measurement frameworks and KPIs.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
* Proven experience in content creation, copywriting, localisation, and digital/omnichannel engagement within regulated industries.
* Experience with medical copywriting, either through an agency or a life‑science company.
* Experience with data, analytics, and insights to interpret information for decision making.
* Demonstrated success in driving complex, multi‑stakeholder projects.
* Experience in pharmaceutical brand teams, digital marketing, or content delivery roles.
* Awareness of current innovations in content strategy and modular approaches.
* Strong communication and presentation skills, influencing senior leaders and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
* Science degree or equivalent.
* Experience in omnichannel content within pharmaceutical, life‑sciences, FMCG, or related industries.
* Familiarity with LMR review processes and compliance requirements.
* Sales or field experience engaging HCPs, payers, and patients.
* Exposure to oncology or other therapeutic areas.
* Interest in digital transformation and innovation in content and marketing platforms.
