Security Officer x 6
Salary: £34,160 plus overtime opportunities, excellent benefits including on-site gym, attractive pension scheme, and free on-site parking.
Location: Custom House / Royal Victoria Dock, London E16
Hours: 4 on 4 off shift pattern: 4 days, then 4 nights, then 4 off.
This is a tremendous opportunity to join the in-house security team at one of London's most iconic venues. You will be part of a first-class security operation where no two days are the same.
Applicants must hold a valid SIA license and be willing to work a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern covering days, nights, and weekends. The role involves regular patrols, so good physical fitness is required.
Requirements:
* Valid SIA license
* Flexible to work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern including weekends and nights
* Excellent customer service skills: helpful, polite, confident
* Conflict management training and ability to use physical intervention skills when necessary
* Conduct regular internal and external patrols in all weather conditions (appropriate PPE provided)
Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality customer service to guests, visitors, and staff
* Conduct frequent proactive patrols
* Greet visitors in a courteous manner
* Respond to incidents and manage situations
* Manage conflicts effectively
* Search visitors upon entry
* Operate CCTV and access control systems as required
* Prepare accurate incident reports
* Adhere to Health & Safety policies
* Follow site-specific instructions
* Respond to emergency situations
