Main missions
Within the Group Sales Department, the B2B Sales Director for the Travel segment is re-sponsible for managing the performance of the Travel vertical, ensuring the implementation of commercial strategies and the development of activities at the local and global level. This position requires a strategic mindset combined with strong relationship-building skills, as the Director will be tasked with developing and nurturing key client relationships while overseeing commercial development initiatives.
Your main missions will include:
1. Strategic management and functional coordination (Group)
Deploy and coordinate the commercial strategy of the Travel vertical at the Group level:
* Develop and execute a strategic plan to address the travel agencies (B2C) and wholesalers, primarily focusing on leisure travelers in countries where Chabé has owned operations.
* Work closely with subsidiaries to align local actions with overall goals.
* Analyze opportunities specific to the Travel sector and propose differentiating actions to maintain Chabé's leading position.
Maximize synergies between local and global teams:
* Identify and share leads or opportunities across subsidiaries to increase revenue in a collaborative way.
* Promote the exchange of best practices between teams in different markets to optimize performance.
Oversee the consolidated reporting of the Travel vertical:
* Produce monthly performance reporting (growth, margins, customer satisfaction).
* Ensure the accuracy of data in Salesforce and other CRM tools, while ensuring consistency with Group standards.
Contribute to strategic intelligence and innovation:
* Identify trends in the Travel market and make recommendations to enrich Chabé's service offerings.
* Participate in the development of new value propositions in collaboration with marketing and operations, in order to meet the evolving expectations of high-end customers.
2. Commercial development
Business Development / Sales :
* Identify and prospect customers in the Travel segment (travel agencies, wholesalers), sending leisure traveler primarily in countries where Chabé has owned operations
* Establish strategic partnerships with key players in the Travel industry
* Manage the entire sales cycle: from prospecting and needs qualification to negotiation and contract finalization.
Key Account Management:
* Develop and nurture a portfolio of strategic clients (travel agencies and wholesalers), cultivating lasting and trusting relationships.
* Identify growth opportunities with existing customers, including diversifying services and increasing volumes.
* Ensure a close follow-up of the bookings to guarantee a high level of satisfaction of customers.
Client Relationship Development and Management:
* Focus on long-term client relationship growth by building trust, understanding their evolving needs, and consistently offering tailored solutions.
* Ensure invoicing and payments are handled smoothly, with accurate and timely processing of client invoices and commissions.
* Monitor and ensure prompt payments of commission fees, ensuring clients are invoiced promptly and payments are made on time.
Monitoring Event Success and ROI:
* Actively monitor and assess the success of trade events, ensuring that new business opportunities resulting from these events are tracked and leveraged.
* Evaluate the ROI of events by analysing the amount of new business generated and client satisfaction, providing actionable insights for future events.
Animation of local teams:
* Motivate, engage, motivate and support any employee working on a Travel vertical related opportunity locally.
* Set clear objectives, ensure regular follow-up and promote the development of the team's skills.
* Participation to trade events
* Identify key trade events that offer business opportunities and relationship building for the Travel vertical
* Participate and engage with clients and prospects
* Investigate partnership opportunities (i.e. sponsoring, transfer services, FAM trips) to maximize Chabé's visibility.
Commercial Project Manager for Strategic Initiatives:
* Oversee the implementation of key projects to strengthen Chabé's brand awareness in the Hospitality sector.
* Ensure that business guidelines are integrated into day-to-day operations to maximize their impact.
Desired profile
Education and experience
* Graduated from a business school or equivalent (bac+5),
* Minimum 10 years of experience in B2B sales, with expertise in the Travel sector (agencies, wholesalers).
* Previous experience in sales management and strategic account management is essential.
Technical skills
* Expertise in business development and strategic account management, particularly in Travel.
* Ability to structure and negotiate high value-added partnerships.
* Strong understanding of CRM tools (ideally Salesforce) and sales reporting processes.
* Mastery of complex calls for tenders and tailor-made proposals for demanding clients.
