Prelim Cell Operator - Metalwork Manufacturing Location: Tiverton Hours: Mon-Wed 4pm-2am, Thu 4pm-1am (36 hours per week) Contract: Full-time, Permanent About the Role We have an exciting opportunity to join our Prelim Cell team, which plays a vital role in supporting other manufacturing cells by preparing metalwork processes and fulfilling customer sales orders. This is a hands-on role where you'll contribute to the high-quality production of our precision slides, ensuring stock and customer orders are completed to exacting standards. Key Responsibilities Follow scheduled plans (written and verbal) to carry out cutting, straightening, and chemical finishing processes. Prepare precision slides for both stock and customer orders. Work accurately and efficiently to meet production requirements. Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and attention to detail at all times. Skills & Experience Basic knowledge of metalwork and related properties. Mechanical skills including cutting and straightening. Experience with manual handling and safe lifting techniques. Ability to differentiate between different product types. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
