This well-backed start-up is entering an exciting growth phase and is investing heavily in its internal design capabilities. As part of this, they are hiring a Design Engineer to join their newly formed team and play a vital role in delivering technical design work across fibre and telecoms networks.
In this role, you'll work closely with the Head of Design to produce accurate technical drawings using AutoCAD. You'll also support the development of CAD libraries, templates, and internal drawing standards - gaining exposure to both the technical and structural sides of the design function.
The ideal candidate will have experience working within telecoms, fibre, wireless, or civil infrastructure design. You'll need to be confident with design software and keen to grow alongside a business that values development, quality, and collaboration.

The Role:
1. Deliver technical designs for telecoms/fibre infrastructure projects
2. Use AutoCAD, QGIS or similar design tools
3. Support the creation of CAD libraries, templates, and QA processes
4. Work closely with the Head of Design on live projects and internal standards
5. Remote first with occasional office visits to Stratford-upon-Avon
The Person:
6. Experienced Design Engineer within telecoms, fibre, wireless, or utilities
7. Proficient with AutoCAD
8. Strong technical and attention to detail skills
9. Keen to learn and develop within a growing start-up
10. Collaborative mindset and willing to get stuck into a variety of design tasks
