Overview
This part‑time (22.5 hours per week) fixed‑term role (through 31 December 2027) will lead the development and delivery of a management plan for Glendun Hill Farm Nature Reserve, spanning 80 hectares of grasslands, acid grassland, mature woodland and blanket bog in the Antrim Coast & Glens AONB. The role involves peatland restoration, nature‑based farming practices, and local community and landowner engagement. It is funded through the BA Better World Community Fund.
Responsibilities
* Lead development and delivery of the management plan for Glendun Hill Farm Nature Reserve.
* Plan and oversee peatland restoration projects.
* Implement nature‑based farming practices.
* Engage with local community and landowners to promote sustainable management.
Qualifications
Relevant experience and qualifications in environmental science, conservation, or related fields are desirable.
