Design Manager High-Rise Projects We are seeking an experienced Design Manager to join the team of a successful tier 1 contractor. You will be leading high-rise concrete frame projects across the UK. The ideal candidate will have proven experience delivering multi-storey concrete frame buildings and a strong understanding of the Building Safety Act (post-implementation). The Role As Design Manager, you will take ownership of the design process from concept through to completion, ensuring compliance with technical, safety, and regulatory requirements. You will coordinate internal teams, external consultants, and contractors to ensure high-quality, safe, and timely delivery of high-rise projects. Key Responsibilities Lead design management for high-rise concrete frame buildings. Ensure compliance with the Building Safety Act and associated regulations. Coordinate and review designs with internal teams, consultants, and contractors. Provide technical leadership to ensure buildability, cost efficiency, and programme alignment. Conduct design reviews, risk assessments, and quality audits. Act as the client-facing design lead for project delivery. About You Proven experience as a Design Manager on high-rise concrete frame projects (essential). Advantageous: Experience working on projects post-implementation of the Building Safety Act. Strong technical knowledge of concrete construction, structural systems, and modern methods. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
