The role of a Senior Production Engineer will include:
* Provide practical, hands-on technical support for escalated engineering issues in semiconductor wafer manufacturing
* Lead the rollout of new process equipment and drive continuous improvement projects
* Collaborate with internal development teams and suppliers on tooling updates and design modifications
* Ensure safe working practices and compliance with EH&S requirements, including PUWER and CE marking
* Manage equipment commissioning activities (IQ/OQ/PQ), FAT/SAT testing, and process validation
* Promote process excellence through methods such as Lean and Six Sigma
The ideal Senior Production Engineer should have the following skills and experience:
* Degree in Engineering, Science, Manufacturing, or equivalent practical experience
* Proven background in semiconductor or wafer manufacturing
* Skilled in diagnosing and repairing high-spec equipment, managing vendor maintenance schedules, and quickly identifying faults
* Experience in regulated industries, working with Quality Control processes and validation systems
* Confident in working with technical documentation, including specifications, work instructions, and validation reports
