The Role:
As a Marketing and Business Development Assistant, youb will:
1. Plan and manage high-quality events, conferences, webinars, and seminars.
2. Assist with PR and social media efforts, including press releases and social media posts.
3. Handle marketing administration, including budget, diary, and travel management.
4. Support marketing communications and campaign management.
5. Develop an understanding of our clients and markets to support business development.
6. Attend networking events to build Trowers & Hamlins' regional profile.
7. Coordinate and administer the annual legal directory submissions process.
The Candidate:
The ideal Marketing and Business Development Assistant will have:
8. Excellent oral and written communication skills with attention to detail.
9. A creative and positive mindset, with flexibility and innovation in approach.
10. Experience attending networking events and liaising with diverse stakeholders.
11. A desire to learn about new industries and support business development.
12. Strong teamwork skills and the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
13. Flexibility to work outside office hours, especially during events.
14. Excellent IT skills and experience with digital creative tools and social media.
15. Ideally, 12-18 months of marketing experience in a professional services or B2B environment.
16. CIM qualifications or a desire to study towards CIM or equivalent.
