A leading FE College is seeking a passionate and talented Music Lecturer to join our dynamic Creative Arts department. You\'ll play a key role in inspiring and supporting our learners as they develop their musical skills, knowledge, and confidence for a future in the industry.
About the Role
As a Music Lecturer, you\'ll deliver engaging and high-quality teaching across a range of music-related subjects. You\'ll support learners in developing their performance, composition, and production skills while encouraging creativity and professionalism within their studies.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons in music performance, composition, and/or production.
* Support learners in building confidence, creativity, and technical ability.
* Provide feedback and guidance to help learners reach their full potential.
* Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement within the department.
* Stay up to date with current trends and technologies within the music industry.
* Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive.
About You
* A relevant qualification in Music or a related field.
* Teaching experience within further or higher education (FE/HE) is desirable.
* Strong practical skills in one or more areas of music (performance, production, composition, etc.).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A passion for music and a genuine enthusiasm for inspiring learners.
