About the role
Based out of our Glasgow office initially, this is an exciting and varied two-year rotational programme within our E, C&I Engineering team. You will gain exposure to maintaining and improving our portfolio of hydro and pumped storage power stations. We will support you in acquiring the knowledge and skills needed to achieve chartership with the IET and succeed in your role.
The programme involves working on historical power stations, addressing maintenance and engineering challenges of old sites, as well as exploring new technologies and solutions to keep these stations providing flexible, low-carbon power to the grid.
What we’re looking for…
We seek passionate graduates with a flair for engineering. You should possess a BEng or MEng in Electrical/Control & Instrumentation Engineering (or related) degree from an IMechE-accredited course, with a desire to learn.
You will need strong analytical and problem-solving skills, good communication abilities, and a proactive, collaborative approach to teamwork.
