Financial Services Firm is hiring for a Junior Application Support Engineer for their team based in London.
This is a permanent role with a hybrid working model: 2 days in the office and 3 days remote. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in Financial Services or an interest in Financial Technology, with 1-3 years in application support. The salary ranges from £40K to £50K, depending on experience.
Responsibilities
* Diagnosing and troubleshooting software issues efficiently.
* Understanding of Linux, SQL, and cloud technologies such as AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudFormation).
* Experience with Python, Docker, and Git.
* Familiarity with Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) for monitoring and analysis.
* Managing support tickets using JIRA Service Desk and ensuring SLA compliance.
