Vehicle Technician - Selby
1. Basic salary up to £35,000 + Bonus

Our client is a franchised Main Dealer looking for an Vehicle Technician to join their team in Selby. This is a 40 hour per week role where no weekend working is required.
There will be opportunities for all types of Technician, with packages available to suit your skill level.
What will the successful Technician do?
7. Perform servicing, repairs, and general maintenance on customer vehicles, handling both minor and major mechanical tasks.
8. Diagnose and resolve electrical and engine-related issues.
9. Conduct road tests to ensure all repairs and servicing meet safety and performance standards.
10. Utilize advanced diagnostic tools to identify faults and issues accurately.
11. Carry out thorough Vehicle Health Checks to assess overall condition.
12. Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace in line with health and safety regulations.
The successful Technician will have
13. Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent) preferred.
14. Level 2 candidates with hands-on workshop experience will also be considered.
15. Previous experience in car servicing and repairs, whether in a main dealership, independent garage, or service centre.
16. A positive, can-do attitude with a strong work ethic.
17. Enthusiastic, professional, and respectful towards customers and colleagues.
18. Honest, diligent, and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship.
19. A full and valid UK driving licence is essential.
The successful Technician will get:
20. Basic salary of up to c. £35,000
21. Bonus of c. £5,000
22. NO WEEKENDS - Monday-Friday role.
