Our client, a prominent independent law firm, is seeking a talented Senior Associate or Legal Director to join their thriving Commercial Real Estate team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to make a significant impact while working alongside a supportive and dynamic group of colleagues.
Position Overview
In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in delivering exceptional legal advice to commercial clients on all matters related to commercial property transactions. Your expertise will be instrumental in drafting, negotiating, and concluding contracts for the sale and lease of property assets, as well as examining titles and leases, and reporting to clients. You will also be responsible for drafting and negotiating Development Agreements, building and maintaining client relationships, and supporting junior team members.
Responsibilities
* Draft, negotiate, conclude, and implement contracts for the sale and lease of property assets
* Examine titles and leases and report to clients
* Draft, negotiate, and conclude leases and ancillary lease management contracts
* Draft, negotiate, and complete Development Agreements
* Build and maintain client and agent relationships
* Support and mentor junior team members
* Manage workload efficiently and pro-actively control finances, including time recording and feeing
* Contribute to other teams within the Real Estate and Infrastructure division
* Participate in business development initiatives
Requirements
* 6+ years PQE with relevant commercial real estate experience
* Experience supervising others (desirable)
* Excellent communication skills
* Articulate and personable
* Enjoys working within a team and autonomously
* Confident and committed to providing a good client experience
