About the role
Here at Liverpool Football Club, we are looking for an experienced Plumber to join our Maintenance Team at Anfield Stadium. You will be responsible for service and repairs, fault finding, and general maintenance of plumbing and drainage systems, ensuring compliance with current regulations.
What will you be doing?
1. Undertake general maintenance, fault finding, and repair works on all Plumbing and Drainage Systems, ensuring timely and compliant completion.
2. Respond promptly to system and plant breakdowns, carrying out fault diagnosis and rectification.
3. Carry out new installations and project works as required.
4. Provide stadium Management with recommendations for lifecycle replacements and system upgrades to assist in budget forecasting.
5. Manage maintenance, testing, repairs, and chemical dosing of Player’s Spa and Ice Baths.
6. Conduct weekly flushing of water systems throughout the stand as part of legionella prevention (L8) system.
7. Prioritize workload using the CAFM System, considering out-of-hours functions and match days.
8. Demonstrate the ability to prioritize workload depending on fixtures and events weekly.
9. Manage and oversee external contractors, ensuring their works are satisfactorily completed with minimal disruption.
10. Undertake statutory and non-statutory PPMs on site at Anfield.
11. Ensure external contractors/projects are completed satisfactorily within agreed timeframes, with minimal disruption.
12. Perform any other duties reasonably expected of the role.
Who are we looking for?
Applicants should possess an NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing and Heating, have Water Hygiene Legionella Prevention experience, and comprehensive knowledge of specialised plumbing, heating, pool management, fire sprinkler systems, and Legionella prevention methods. Experience in undertaking PPMs and a full clean UK driver’s license are essential.

* IPAF Mobile Platform Operation License
* PASMA Mobile Scaffold Erection License
* Gold CSCS Trade Card
* Water Regulations Qualification/Knowledge
* Unvented Hot Water Qualification (Commercial)
* Gas qualification
* Level 2 Spa Management qualification
* Knowledge of fire suppression sprinkler systems
