Female Waking Night Support Worker Pay rate: Waking Night £14.18 per hour Shift Pattern: 1 x 12 hour shift - 20:00pm - 8:00am We are looking for compassionate, reliable, and proactive Support Workers to join a dedicated team providing 24-hour support for a young adult living in their own home with Global Development Delay, Autism, visual impairment (registered blind), and Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties. The person you will be supporting enjoys baking, cooking, and going on outings in the community. They attend a local day centre once a week and share their home with a much-loved indoor cat, so you must not be allergic to animals. Enriching activities will be an important factor in your support, and you will bring a wonderfully empathetic approach to truly make a difference to this person’s life. You will also need to bring previous experience with you in the following: Learning Disabilities Autism Behaviours that can be perceived as challenging What will your shift involve?
