As an Accounts Assistant in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, you will play a key role in supporting the company’s financial operations. Working closely with the finance manager, you'll be responsible for a range of accounting tasks and business support activities.
Key Responsibilities for the Accounts Assistant in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire include:
* Assisting with month-end and year-end financial reporting
* Preparing and submitting VAT returns
* Reconciling and recording online sales and other transactions
* Managing accruals, prepayments, and asset registers
* Supporting the processing of weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payroll
* Carrying out general administrative tasks and data entry as needed
Candidate Profile
* Previous experience in a similar finance/accounts assistant role
* Strong knowledge of Sage 50 and Microsoft Excel
* Experience with payroll processing is a strong advantage
* Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
* Good written and verbal communication abilities
* Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
