You possess a strong understanding of refurbishment and development work related to housing stock, and have a proven track record of delivering substantial projects. What the Job Involves The role involves leading the Housing Planned Projects Team within the Housing Asset Management sector. You will manage Project Managers, Clerks of Works, Consultants, and contractors, including the Council’s Term contractor, Cardo. The primary focus is on executing refurbishment works across the Council's extensive housing stock of over 6,000 units and overseeing small-scale developments like conversions and infills. Key projects include Decent Homes, enveloping, and compliance programmed works. You will work collaboratively with the Asset Data and Compliance Team and Repairs Team to deliver a £16 million programme, while also leading major changes within the team and with partner suppliers.
