Key Responsibilities
6. Assist in executing daily fabrication tasks under supervision
7. Assemble component parts to a high standard of accuracy and quality
8. Operate hand and power tools proficiently
9. Interpret and work from engineering drawings and specifications
10. Meet production targets while maintaining quality standards
11. Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental guidelines
12. Maintain a clean and organized work area
13. Minimize material waste through efficient usage
14. Comply with FGS Plymouth quality and safety systems
15. Accurately record work for traceability and quality assurance
Qualifications & Skills
16. Experience in fabrication processes such as cutting, grinding, and fitting
17. Ability to read and understand technical schematics and engineering drawings
18. Skilled in using measuring instruments (., tape measures, callipers)
19. Familiarity with machinery like press brakes, guillotines, and rollers
20. Physically capable of manual handling and demanding work environments
21. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities
22. Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn
23. Capable of both independent and collaborative work
24. Effective time management and task prioritization
