Radis Community Care has an opportunity for a Full-Time Support Worker to join our team based at Dorothy Terry House in Redditch.
This role involves a mix of early and late shifts (7am-3pm, 3pm-10pm) and alternate weekends.
About the Role
As a Support Worker in our Extra Care Scheme, you will primarily support elderly residents who are experiencing difficulties due to physical frailty, helping them maintain independence. Responsibilities include assisting residents with mobility, helping them move to dining areas for meals, communal areas for social activities, and to their bedrooms upon request.
The role also involves supporting residents with personal care activities such as washing, hygiene, and dressing. You will have opportunities to engage residents in physical and mental activities, both individually and in groups, to promote their well-being.
The aim is to promote residents' independence, choice, dignity, and respect by delivering high standards of care.
