About this Role
Greenwood Academies Trust is currently recruiting for a Regional Premises Manager to join their Operations Directorate, within the Estates Team on a permanent basis.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an outstanding Regional Premises Manager to support our 37 Academies based at Kingswood Secondary Academy. Within your role, you will support a cluster of Academies within the Trust and work alongside other Regional Premises Managers to deliver our Estates Managed Service, reporting to our Trust Estates and Quality Assurance Manager.
Duties will include (but not limited to)
* line manage Premises teams to ensure that the environment (internal and external) of all buildings within their region are safe, well maintained and meet all Statutory Health and Safety requirements;
* managing projects for their cluster of Academies and deployment of premises staff;
* Contribute towards the development and delivery of the Trust Estates & Sustainability strategies;
* Frequent liaison with Principals and Academy leadership teams for your cluster of Academies;
* Management and oversight of capital and revenue maintenance and condition budgets;
* engagement and supervision of contractors;
* ensuring the security of the buildings is sufficient;
* completion of assurance processes for each Academy, including all line management duties such as; induction, performance, training and absence.
Previous experience of premises and asset management is a must, along with experience of leading, supervising and motivating a multidisciplinary team and managing work programmes. You must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels. IT literacy is a necessity as you will use several systems to manage and analyse premises compliance and performance.
You will have a flexible approach to working hours – to incorporate a hybrid working model, an interest in maintenance and a passion for high standards is also essential.
