Job Title: Computing Lecturer – 2 roles available

Pay and Hours: Salary range £16,012.20 to £24,847.80 per annum, pro rata. Hours: 22.2 hours per week, Part Time.
Location: Worcester and Bromsgrove Campuses, possible travel to other sites.
Responsibilities:
* Producing and maintaining schemes of work, lesson plans and course outlines
* Teaching across a variety of programmes (and two campuses) associated subject areas
* Participating in the College Lesson Observation Scheme
* Maintaining accurate, up-to-date records of attendance, progress and achievement
* Marking student work promptly in line with agreed timescales
* Ensuring students are correctly enrolled and registered
* Developing new courses and associated curriculum areas
* Taking an active role in learner recruitment, advice and guidance
* Ensuring safe delivery across all programme areas
Targeted Retention Incentive Payments for FE Teachers:

* Engineering and Manufacturing, Including Transport Engineering and Electronics
* Maths
* Physics
Qualifications and Experience:
* Appropriate teaching qualification, or willingness to undertake and gain the Certificate in Education and Training within 2 years of appointment
* Minimum level 2 qualification in both English and Maths
* Relevant industrial experience and the ability to develop new courses
* Strong subject knowledge in computing and digital media
Additional Requirements:
* Completion of Enhanced DBS, references, and qualification validation
* Safeguarding training and commitment to protecting children and vulnerable adults
