Location: Hereford
Salary: Entry salary £60,000
Working Hours: Full Time, 40 hours per week
Service: Children’s Home
Service Users: Young people requiring complex care
Home; Number of Beds: 3-bed complex care home
Qualifications Required: Level 3 in Children’s Residential Care (essential); Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (preferred)
Experience in Years: At least 2 years in residential care of children, with 1 year in a supervisory role in the last 5 years

You’ll have experience in residential childcare, team development, and a strong understanding of complex care needs. The ideal candidate will be organised, compassionate, and ready to ensure the highest standards of care are provided, with a trauma-informed approach to supporting children with behavioural, emotional, and social difficulties.

* Starting Salary: £60,000 per annum, DOE

Essential Requirements and Experience
* Minimum 2 years in residential childcare, with 1 year in a supervisory role within the last 5 years
* Level 3 qualification in Children’s Residential Care; Level 5 preferred or to be obtained within 6 months
* Comprehensive knowledge of The Quality Standards, SCCIF, childcare legislation, and regulatory requirements
* Strong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to manage resources effectively
