About the role:
Do you want to be responsible for ensuring our customers receive pristine products? Join our quality team as a Product Recovery QC Inspector.
Situated in the receiving warehouse, you will represent the interests of the processes within the warehouse and the product care of items.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Quality checking stock thoroughly and ensuring it is fit for purpose and recorded correctly, reporting errors if necessary
* Processing damaged, used, and faulty products with a focus on recovery
* Ensuring fraudulent items are logged on the system and reported to the fraud team for investigation
* Ensuring due care and attention is given to the detailed task of inspection and repacking of products
* Communicating any poor product care, handling, packaging, and unsolved problems to the site
* Conducting audits to identify areas for improvement in processes and product care
* Maintaining departmental paperwork on a day-to-day basis, ensuring accuracy of information, reporting, and filing
About you:
To be successful in this role, you will:

* Be able to work as part of a team or on your own initiative
* Communicate effectively at all levels, gaining respect and credibility
* Have an excellent understanding of Google Suite
* Be flexible towards working hours and willing to work additional hours
* Be punctual and reliable
What is Product Recovery?
This element of the role involves:
* Ensuring due care and attention is given to the detailed task of inspection while servicing the needs of a production-based warehouse
* Recovering stock to fulfill customer orders using specialist equipment and cleaning fluids
* Ensuring goods are fit for sale
* Understanding commerciality, customer needs, and expectations
What is a Quality Control Inspector?
This element of the role involves:
* Representing the interests of the Product team, taking responsibility for deciding that goods delivered are acceptable and within tolerance for stock in all aspects of quality, appearance, packaging, and labeling
* Communicating any unsolved problems to the PQC Manager for advice on action to be taken
* Having knowledge of all Next product groups and being able to communicate with authority on these to and on behalf of all product departments and other internal departments
