Description The Service and Team Healthy Cornwall, part of the Wellbeing and Public Health service, delivers health improvement interventions across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. The service supports residents in making healthy lifestyle choices to enhance physical and mental wellbeing. It is committed to reducing health inequalities by focusing on individuals and communities with the greatest need—particularly those in areas of high deprivation or who are socially excluded. The Role We are recruiting a Health Improvement Practitioner to join our team in East Cornwall: Permanent Role : Focused on Pregnancy and Early Years. These roles involve delivering targeted health interventions and working closely with communities and partner organisations to improve health outcomes. This position is subject to an enhanced criminal record disclosure check. What You'll Need to Succeed We are looking for dynamic individuals who are: Committed to improving the wellbeing of Cornwall residents. Skilled in delivering health interventions. Experienced in community development and building strong partnerships. Able to work independently and collaboratively towards shared goals. Passionate about reducing health inequalities, especially in underserved communities. Flexible with working hours, including regular evenings and occasional weekends.
