Job Description

Multi‑Skilled Joiner required for a Facilities Management company to carry out planned and preventative maintenance on a large site in Wythenshawe. The role will work 8:00 – 16:30, Monday to Friday (40 hours per week). This is a long‑term contract position with the view to becoming permanent and offers opportunities for progression.

Daily Responsibilities

• Planned and preventative maintenance
• General joinery repairs and maintenance (doors, frames, kitchens, fixtures, etc.)
• Basic multi‑trade tasks (patch plastering, minor plumbing, etc.)
• Diagnosing and rectifying faults across building fabric
• Carrying out work safely and efficiently
• Building relationships with customers on site

Requirements

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry & Joinery (or equivalent)
• Proven experience in a maintenance environment
• Multi‑skilled background
• Ability to carry out basic works across other trades (desirable)
