Broadacres Housing Association is seeking an Operations Manager for our Extra Care and Sheltered Housing services located across North Yorkshire. The role As the Operations Manager, you will working across sites a minimum of 3 days out of 5 days per week, with the responsibility for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Extra Care and Sheltered Housing facilities, ensuring the highest level of support for our customers. You will work closely with our external partners to deliver an exceptional service to older people in our area and manage budgets and resources effectively as well as supporting scheme managers and coordinators across a number of wide spread locations. You will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating the quality of services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering a positive and inclusive environment for our customers and colleagues. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with external partners and stakeholders to enhance the overall experience for our customers. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role within the social housing and support sector, excellent leadership and communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality support services. A relevant qualification in housing, social care or a related field is highly desired. What we are looking for: A minimum of 3 years experience in management of social care or support services Able to demonstrate abilities in procuring services and supplies and demonstrating value for money Experience of developing and monitoring policies and procedures Excellent writing and verbal communication skills inc. tailoring communications to different audiences Well developed organisational skills and be able to successfully manage competing priorities/ projects and work to tight deadlines in a rapidly changing environment, planning, generating and adapting solutions accordingly.
